It's taken all day but we've made it from our hotel in Vegas to the Pacific coast in Ventura, California. State number 5, if you include New York!
The car hire place was very friendly and asked us what colour we wanted the car in! So Christina is now the proud owner of a convertible red Mustang, more photos will follow tomorrow. It only took us 5 go's trying to fit our suitcases in the compromised boot. It was a bit like chess, and i can only hope i remember the order the cases have to go in.
The suspension is pretty firm on the broken freeways, but it sounds like a proper muscle car when you floor it!
Current tally of speeding tickets = 0
Weather here on the coast is unseasonally cool, it's definitely warmer in London at the moment- after spending 2weeks in 35degree heat i can't complain!
